Limited Lifetime Warranty
This CERTIFICATE assures that the REPAIRS which you and BodyWorks Collision Centers have agreed upon, have been completed. So long as said vehicle shall remain under the present ownership, BodyWorks Collision Centers shall guarantee the work performed. Items on the repair estimate, such as Sublet Work or Sublet Labor, are subject to the guarantee of those suppliers. This warranty shall only apply if the defects occurred under normal driving conditions and not where the vehicle has been subjected to accidents, negligence, abuse or misuse. Goodwill may be applicable on above repair. If so, no warranty will apply to the above repair if customer does not participate in cost of said repairs. Specifically excluded from this Limited Lifetime Warranty is any form of RUST or CORROSION. This is a four-part Limited Lifetime Warranty, and specific additional stipulations pertaining to each segment are stated hereafter:
1. METAL WORK - BodyWorks Collision Centers provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty against defective workmanship. Included are welding and the application of materials utilized in making collision repairs against cracking, flaking or deterioration. BodyWorks Collision Centers will, at its sole option, repair and repaint any metalwork warranted hereby.
2. PAINTING, STRIPES AND DECALS - BodyWorks Collision Centers provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty on painting-related priming and painting work against solvent blistering, peeling, hazing and excessive loss of pigmentation. This Limited Lifetime Warranty is on the application and adhesion of decorative stripes and decals, excluding defects which are caused by extreme environmental conditions to which the vehicle may be exposed. BodyWorks Collision Centers will, at its sole option, re-prime, repaint, restripe, or re-decal the specific section or sections of the vehicle warranted hereby. This Limited Lifetime Warranty is valid only when paint is applied over original factory finishes that are free of defects and ornamental moldings, handles, locks, etc. have been removed.
3. MECHANICAL REPAIRS - BodyWorks Collision Centers provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty on all mechanical repairs pertaining directly to original collision damage, excluding suspension, air conditioning, electrical assemblies or other components. BodyWorks Collision Centers will, as its sole option, repair any mechanical assembly or component warranted hereby.
4. PARTS - BodyWorks Collision Centers guarantees that parts or materials used in this repair are of the first quality. These parts or materials are subject to the guarantee of the supplier. BodyWorks Collision Centers will assist in handling any claim under the supplier's guarantee. We assure that used parts or other than original equipment manufactured parts were not used without being noted on the repair estimate.
SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDED are any forms of RUST or CORROSION and incidental costs, such as towing fees, car rental charges, travel expenses, assemblies or components which are not specifically covered by this Limited Lifetime Warranty, nor are consequential damages such as damage to other assemblies and components resulting from a defective part or installation of such part installed or repaired during the repair included in this Limited Lifetime Warranty.
This LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY shall not be varied, supplemented, qualified or interpreted by any prior course of dealings. THIS WARRANTY COVERS ONLY THE REPAIRS COMPLETED BY BodyWorks Collision Centers.
